Arts Council England
Arts Council England is the national development agency for the arts in England, distributing public money from the Government and the National Lottery.
Random Acts is a partnership between Arts Council England and Channel 4. The Arts Council has appointed five Random Acts Network Centres across England that offer education, training and production support for 16-24 year olds working in a diverse range of art forms to create short films designed for inclusion as part of the Random Acts strand on television and online. Tyneside Cinema is the lead organisation for Random Acts Centre North, working in partnership with HOME (Manchester) and leading production company True North (Leeds) to produce 24 short films by young creative talent each year for the next three years.
